  • Jess Mackie

    OWNER/PERSONAL TRAINER

I started working in the Fitness Industry in 2009, as a way to support myself through four years at University. The gym became my second home and it didn’t take long before it stopped feeling like work and I experienced just how rewarding this career was.

Over the years, I have worked and trained in leisure centres, 24/7 chains, women’s only gyms, boutique studios, CrossFit and at the AIS. When I decided to start my own business, I was inspired by everything I love and have learnt from these facilities and determined to create an environment and training experience that encompassed what I believe to be the best elements.

My mission is to help you find exercise that you enjoy, give you the confidence to set big goals, and the support and encouragement to achieve them.

  • Zane Gosling

    PERSONAL TRAINER

I've always been a science and tech-head at heart, but as soon as I started exercising regularly and found how much I loved seeing the body adapt and change, I knew I found a new passion.

I absolutely love combining these, looking up the latest research, or the latest tech in the health and fitness industry and applying to my training.

Always learning, and always happy to share my knowledge with you, I aim to help you not just reach your goals, but also understand the process too, leading to more sustainable results.

  • Molly Roper

    PERSONAL TRAINER

I love being active, it’s always been a huge part of my identity.

I grew up hanging upside down on monkey bars, then playing competitive sports, and ended up having a career as a circus artist before becoming a personal trainer!

Now I love sharing the joy of movement with others, and my goal is always to help you find the fun in your daily exercise, challenge yourself to try things you never thought you could, and be your own inspiration!

  • Peter Wren

    PERSONAL TRAINER

My passion for exercise began when I was a teenager growing up in a small country town. With no gym in town, I started lifting weights with dad who had a few bits of equipment. I loved this form of training and found it really helped my performance in team sports like football and basketball. Waking up early to train before school wasn’t always pleasant, but the feeling after finishing a workout made it definitely worthwhile.

I completed a Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science in 2021 and began working in the health and fitness industry towards the later stages of my degree. I enjoy working with all age groups and believe there’s nothing better than helping somebody go through an experience that makes them happy, confident and strong. I want to help you discover the benefits and joys of training.

  • Bowen Ji

    PERSONAL TRAINER

I began my fitness journey in 2008 having lost more than 20 kilos in weight. Having been in the industry for more than 5 years, I have learnt that exercise needs to be enjoyable if you want to sustain it.

I share a passion for strength training and injury rehabilitation. I promote a holistic approach to health and wellbeing, which is why I believe in the motto ‘take care of the body and it’ll take care of you.’

I think everyone can achieve amazing results as long as they have the right mindset. From strength coaching to circuit training, my objective is to make sure your goals are met and maintained for the long haul.

  • Russell Sands

    SPIN INSTRUCTOR

What’s your secret weapon that keeps your riders coming back?

Variation, preparation and purpose: Every class is different and unique in its own way. The focus for each class is different and sometimes changes within the class and no one quite knows in advance where its going, so keeps people guessing.

My classes are prepared in advance and will generally be building upon previous drills to extend and push the fitness of the riders. And most importantly a completely changing and unpredictable playlist for each class that can sometimes go either way. In all, keep mixing everything up. And of course we have a bit of banter along the way.

How do you motivate yourself when you don’t feel like getting on the bike?

I don’t think about it, and just do it. I’ve heard fitness experts say, “don’t wait for motivation, just do it”. Try to get into a routine, and be disciplined and consistent. Pick the time of the day that suits you the best. Mornings are great because it is done before other responsibilities and things to do get in the way. Even if I don’t 'feel' like it, I still do it and feel so much better afterwards. And instructing a few classes a week means I have to do it!
